Workshop: Innovate internationally – networking, financial support and IP

Is your company driven by technology development and innovation? And are you figuring out
whether international collaboration is something for you? If so, you may need some support, for
example with networking or financial or intellectual property issues.

RVO Advisors know a lot about international collaboration and innovation. They can help you with

This workshop is of interest to slightly more advanced businesses who are building a business case,
have a prototype and have already applied or registered for IP rights.

Programme
The programma is as follows:
IP-strategy
We will start with an introduction in IP-rights by Dynion Bakker, intellectual property advisor at the
Netherlands Patent Office. During this presentation you will get guidance on how to optimally use
IP within your business to align IP activities with your business goals. You will learn which IP rights
are important when it comes to topics such as product innovation, building brand identity and
strengthening market position. You will also gain insight into structuring secrecy.

Eurostars & Innovatiemissies
Jelle Knop, Eurostars advisor at RVO, gives a presentation on Eurostars and innovation missions.

Eurostars is a European innovation program and gives projects financial support through the
national government of each participating country. The program helps companies to carry out
market-oriented technological development. This presentation will explain what Eurostars is, what
kind of projects fit well within the program, who can claim the subsidy and how it is done.

In this regard, innovation missions of RVO are an excellent way to make contact with international
cooperation partners. During innovation missions, we discover the opportunities for international
cooperation in the field of innovation with you. We also work to further expand and strengthen
internationalization activities of the top sectors.
